Keeping the Routine in Check

Good morning!

Today I might just be able to focus on and appreciate my solitude. I’m finding that maintaining my weekly routine is frequently disrupted, and though I can maintain my solitude, I end up doing busywork and errands at an unexpected rate.

I might best keep a journal to see if there are patterns, and maybe I can reign it in. (Disruption Journal)

The snow has effected things. I haven’t had a delivery truck back in here for a month, which means if the delivery contains anything perishable, I must make a trip down to the valley to get it, thereby defeating the purpose of having parcels delivered. I must make one trip down the mountain today, to pick up my produce delivery and also get gasoline. I’ll piggy back any additional errands onto that.

Today, with one brief trip to town, I should be able to focus on my routine. Thursdays are my art and nature day. I might continue working on a mitochondrion painting, or trying to fix a skyscape that will be a background for the portrait of my friend, Captain. I’ll post a picture of the new mitochondrion painting as it develops here later today.
